The most effective way to toatally crush an ego.. an ego of one that can't spell her way out of a paper bag.. is to design spell check to reject horribly mispelled words. Seriously, sometimes I completely butcher words so badly that spell check is like .. WTF? I would cmpletely fail in life without the comptuer fixing my embarassing mistakes. Still to this day I blame my low SAT writing scores on the fact that I was too scared to use rich vocabulary on the essay portion of the test because I would spell them wrong. Spelling is stupid.
